Ok, so it ain't a replica "Frankenstein" EVH guitar - and who can afford one anyway, what with the $15,000.00 + pricetag. This faceplate looks incredible. It looks a lot like Eddie's most famous guitar, with scratches, dings and all. The stripes are pretty close as is the placement of the "squiggles". The look is right, all the way down to the half-pickguard and the screw holes for the missing half. And what red-blooded child of the 80s didn't dream of playing Eddie's guitar?
