This game is exactly what I was hoping for, essentially more levels to the first game. Only the slightest of differences I've noticed. The first one is fusion powers, this replaces the individual super move of each character and it's neat deciding what fusion to perform, i.e. each character combination is different. The other change is grabbing. You now "pick up" the enemy by pressing the button a 2nd time, then a 3rd time to throw them (i.e. in the original game you just pushed in the direction you wanted to throw them). Other than that the game feels and looks identical.
The one major improvement I like is the sheer overwhelming number of enemies. Wave after wave there are at times 50 people fighting on the screen at once. You can actually lose where your character is. It makes it feel epic!
