When I bought this as a gift for my 9 year old Nerf fan son, I thought the game would be the big draw and the Nerf blaster a bonus, but it turned out to be the other way around. The game is fun and we've all enjoyed playing it, but it is pretty short. My son finished it in a few hours. It does have a good amount of replay value, and it takes a while to unlock all of the bonus game blasters, but I can see how some kids might get tired of it quickly. The blaster, which can double as a game controller, is a lot of fun. It has good range for a small blaster and has seen a lot of use. This is a fun toy package, as long as you know the pretty minor drawbacks going in.
