Rune Factory can be good or bad because of the amount of time you will waste on it without even realizing. It's similar to Harvest Moon but I actually prefer this to HM for some reason. I think the graphics are better along with the gameplay overall. You get to build your farm from the start instead of working side-jobs for other people. It can get monotonous having to come back and water crops or harvest especially if you've planted most of your field. I believe as 1 week passes in game, it amounts to around 2 hours real time. The dungeon is extremely fun killing monsters and leveling up, as well as finding items you need for forging or cooking, etc. Interaction with other characters is kinda lame. They only have a few set responses for you depending on what stage in the game you're at. I liked Rune Factory more than I expected I would and would definitely recommend.
