Simply put, this thing does not work. First of all, the battery pack does not make solid contact with the terminals in the charger. Only after removing the Wii remote strap would the charging light stay illuminated. Yes, that is right. The tolerances in this thing are so limited that the thickness of the super-thin Wii strap string prevented it from charging the battery. So once I did get it charged, after leaving it on the charger undisturbed for about 20 hours, I discovered that the battery only holds a charge good for about 1 hour of game play. This is unacceptable. I have has previous experiences with a NYKO charger (http://www.amazon.com/Wii-Charge-Station-Nintendo/dp/B000LFJNF2) and that worked wonderfully, holding a charge for several DAYS of game play and had the ability to charge with the strap on the remote. By the NYKO instead!
